Meet our SSE Energy Solutions experts

Join us at the Energy Live Consultancy Conference (ELCC) at the IET in London on 1 December.

SSE Energy Solutions is proud to sponsor the 2021 Energy Live Consultancy Conference (ELCC) for the fifth year in a row. ELCC brings together industry leaders and experts for networking and content sessions covering important issues for the energy broker and consultancy market.

The conference is followed by the Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA) ceremony which celebrates the successes of energy consultants and highlights their achievements. As sponsors of the very first TELCA Net Zero Leaders award in 2020, we’re proud to sponsor the award again for this year’s ceremony. We’re also sponsoring the Best Business Solutions – Renewables award. The 2021 shortlist has already been announced which you can find here.

Where to find us

The road ahead post-COP26 (11.20am – 11.50am)

As principal partners of COP26, we’ll be reflecting on our experiences and explaining what the outcomes could mean for the future of the energy industry. We’ll be discussing the key milestones of COP26 and answering the big questions around transitioning to a net zero world.

As well as taking the stand to discuss what the energy market will look like post-COP26, Sam Bird, Head of Regulation for Business Energy, will also be holding a Q&A session for guests to take advantage of his extensive knowledge on regulatory policy developments.

Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) reform is coming – are you ready? (2.50pm – 3.20pm)

According to Elexon, MHHS is going to be the biggest change to the UK energy market since privatisation. Ofgem consider the MHHS Programme as a first in defining the ‘blueprint’ for future large change programmes within the energy industry. Between now and 2045, Ofgem believe MHHS will bring net benefits of up to £4.5bn for UK consumers.

Join Zoe O’Hare, Business Development Manager for SSE Energy Solutions, as she explains what is changing, how it impacts consumers and the benefits you can bring to your customers.

As well as our main speaking slots at 11.20am and 2.50pm, you can chat to our energy experts throughout the day at stand six and seven.

How to attend

You can register for your free place to attend the ELCC by emailing Harry Matyjaszek harry.matyjaszek@futurenetzero.com. But remember, there are only 250 spaces and they’re going fast.
