How to pay your SSE business energy bill

We offer several ways to pay your energy bill, so you can choose the option that works best for your business.

You can pay by Direct Debit, bank transfer, or debit/credit card. You can also pay over the counter at a bank, Post Office, or anywhere that displays the PayPoint sign. Your bill has a “how to pay” guide on the reverse and includes all the details you’ll need.

Paying by Direct Debit is the easiest way to settle your SSE energy bill. It's quick, simple and protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, so you won't risk missing a payment.

If you don’t have a direct debit set up, please email a completed Direct Debit mandate to DDmandate@sse.com.

Here are the options:

  • Budget Direct Debit: We’ll take a fixed amount on the date you choose each month.
  • Variable Direct Debit: We’ll take payment in line with your agreed payment terms. If you have any payment issues, let us know within five days of receiving your bill.
  • If you receive quarterly bills but want to switch to a budget Direct Debit with fixed monthly payments, call our Billing Team on 0345 7252526
