We’re offering five fully funded ISO 52120 surveys to eligible Surrey County Cricket Club member organisations as part of our commitment to advancing energy-efficient, smart building performance.
ISO 52120 is the international standard for Building Automation and Control Systems (BACS), helping organisations understand how effectively their building controls support energy efficiency and carbon reduction.
The survey will help your business identify opportunities to optimise energy use.
As Surrey’s energy and sustainability partner since 2024, SSE Energy Solutions works alongside the club to help transform how energy is managed across one of sport’s most influential venues.
A comprehensive building controls survey helped map energy use across the Kia Oval, identify waste and prioritise improvement. This enabled the cricket ground to cut electricity use by 6%.
Working with Surrey, we’re exploring smart building technologies, advanced energy management and expanded on-site solar to further optimise performance and reduce costs.
What’s included?
Selected participants will receive a full ISO 52120 aligned assessment of one building, which includes:
- Expert review of current building control performance
- Identification of energy optimisation opportunities
- A summary report highlighting improvement areas and quick wins
Who’s eligible?
You must be a Surrey County Cricket Club member organisation (business).
To make the most impact, this offer is limited to buildings that meet the following criteria:
- Building size between: 20,000 – 100,000 sq ft (approx. 1,850 – 9,300 m²)
- Commercial buildings with active building management/control systems
Terms and conditions
- Limited number of free ISO 52120 assessments available to qualifying GB-based commercial customers.
- Open to Surrey CCC member organisations only.
- One building per business.
- Limited to five organisations only.
- Offered on a first-come, first-served basis (subject to eligibility).
- SSE reserves the right to select suitable sites.
- Assessments are advisory only and subject to site suitability and availability, with no obligation to proceed with further services.
