Terms and conditions
1. The Promotion
This prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is promoted by SSE Energy Supply Limited, trading as SSE Energy Solutions, registered in England and Wales (company number 03757502), which is a member of the SSE Group (the “Promoter”). The registered office of SSE Energy Supply Limited is No. 1 Forbury Place, 43 Forbury Road, Reading, RG1 3JH.
The Prize Draw opens on 28/07 at 09:00 BST and closes on 03/08 at 23:59 BST (the “Prize Draw Period”).
By entering the Prize Draw, you (the “Entrant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
The Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees of SSE Group companies, their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
To enter, Entrants must tag a small business in the comments section of the competition post on Instagram during the Prize Draw Period.
No purchase is necessary.
By tagging a business, Entrants confirm they have permission to engage that business as part of this competition.
Entries must comply with Instagram’s terms of use and community guidelines.
The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entry it considers inappropriate, fraudulent or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
4. Privacy
By entering the Prize Draw, Entrants acknowledge that any personal data provided will be used by the Promoter solely for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw.

5. Prizes & Winner Selection
A total of 3 winners will each receive a £50 MB Dining Out Card (the “Prize”).
Winners (the “Winning Participants”) will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Prize Draw Period.
The Promoter’s decision is final.
6. Winner Notification
Winning Participants will be contacted via Instagram direct message from the official SSE Energy Solutions Instagram account within 5 working days of the Prize Draw closing.
Winning Participants must confirm acceptance of the Prize within 5 working days of notification.
If a Winning Participant fails to respond within this timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random. The original Winning Participant will have no further entitlement to the Prize.
7. Prize Conditions
The Prize is non‑transferable, non‑refundable, and there is no cash alternative.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.
The MB Dining Out Card is subject to the card issuer’s own terms and conditions. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any restrictions imposed by the card provider.
8. Publicity
The Promoter may publish the Instagram handle of Winning Participants on its social media channels for a minimum of 30 days.
Winning Participants may be invited to take part in promotional activity related to the Prize Draw. Participation is optional and can be declined.
9. Platform Disclaimer
This Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, Entrants release Instagram from any liability in connection with the Prize Draw.
10. General
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the Prize Draw if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable.
The Promoter accepts no liability for lost, delayed or incomplete entries or for technical issues affecting participation.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding the Promoter’s decisions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
