Terms and Conditions for SME Spotlight at the Kia Oval Competition
The Promotion

This Competition (the “Competition”) is promoted by SSE Energy Supply Limited, trading as SSE Energy Solutions, registered in England and Wales number 03757502 which is a member of the SSE Group (the “Promoter”). The registered office of SSE Energy Supply Limited is No. 1 Forbury Place, 43 Forbury Road, Reading, RG1 3JH.

The Competition Period commences on 22/06/2026 at 10:00am GMT and closes at 12:00pm GMT on 12/07/2026 (the “Competition Period”).

“Account” means your Invoice Structure Account with SSE Energy Supply Limited, details of which can be found on a customer’s bill, in the ‘Invoice Structure Identifier’ section.

By entering the Competition, you (the “Entrant”) agree to these terms and conditions.

By entering this Competition, entrants acknowledge that the personal data they provide will be used by the Promoter to administer the prize. Shortlisted submission entries will be shared with our Partner (the “Partner” Surrey County Cricket Club) as part of the judging panel. The Winning Participant will also be shared with our Partner in order to facilitate the award. We'll always treat your personal data with respect, keep it safe and secure and never sell it to third parties. Eligibility

The Competition is only open to Businesses that: a) have an existing energy supply contract or renew an existing contract with SSE Energy Supply Limited during the Competition Period, and have a legally binding contract in place on 21st June 2026; b) agree to pay by Direct Debit and have a Direct Debit Mandate in place as part of their contract., c) must have 250 employees or less in their business, d) operates in Great Britain, and e) maintain an active energy supply contract with SSE Energy Supply Limited and remain a customer in good standing (with no material breach, default or termination notice issues until 31st March 2027.

The Competition is not open to: a) Businesses who are subject to legal action and/or a debt recovery process and/or are registered as bankrupt with SSE Energy Supply Limited.

Only customers who enter via the competition submission form will be eligible for the Competition.

Only one entry per business is allowed. If multiple entries are submitted for a business, only the first eligible entry will be entered into the Competition.

Entries may be subject to category exclusivity restrictions and commercial partner conflicts associated with the Promoter and its partners. Businesses operating in categories that conflict with existing partner rights may be deemed ineligible at the Promoter’s discretion.

The winner will be selected by the Promoter’s judging panel from all eligible entries, taking into account how well each entry demonstrates a different kind of energy, positive impact on customers and/or the local community, business progress or resilience, the strength and distinctiveness of the business’s story. The judging panel will include representation from the Promoter and its Partner.
Prizes & Winner Selection

Every valid entry into the Competition could win four (4) pitch-side static ad-boards at the Kia Oval and one (1) thirty-second (30s) static ad placement on the Big Screen at the cricket grounds (“Prize”). The Prize consists of advertising inventory only and has no cash value. The exact format, placement, timing, and visibility of the advertising are subject to availability, venue scheduling, broadcast decisions, and the reasonable discretion of the Promoter and its partners.

The Promoter shall select one (1) entry via a selected judging panel including representatives from SSE Energy Solutions and their partner Surrey County Cricket Club, to win each Prize. One (1) entry in total will be selected from all eligible entries as winners (the “Winning Participant”).

The Winning Participant will be notified by SSE Energy Solutions via the email or telephone number provided in their entry by 31/07/2026. Once contacted, the Winning Participant will be asked to confirm details of their supply and their business, including their position within the business.

If the Winning Participant does not respond or cannot confirm their supply or business details within 5 working days, the Promoter will offer the Prize to an alternative Entrant, selected based on eligibility criteria, and the original Winning Participant shall have no right to claim the Prize.

The Prize value is estimated to be £15,000 and is calculated in line with media evaluation reports by Surrey County Cricket Club.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for the number of attendees at the chosen fixture, or the audience viewership levels on streaming services. This is out of the Promoter’s control as the sole responsibility lies with the Promoter’s Partner (Surrey County Cricket Club).

If the Winning Participant becomes subject to legal action and/or a debt recovery process and/or they terminate their relationship with SSE Energy Supply Limited on or before the date the Prize is granted, they will no longer be eligible to receive the Prize. In this circumstance, the Promoter will offer the Prize to an alternative eligible Entrant, selected at random, and the original Winning Participant shall have no right to claim the Prize.

The Winning Participant will be required to participate in reasonable publicity and promotional activity in connection with the Prize, including but not limited to social and digital channels, email communications, web content, and other marketing activity by the Promoter and its partner (Surrey County Cricket Club). Any such activity will be clearly communicated in advance. The Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner in the event that these requirements are not met.

The Winning Participant must be willing to travel to the Kia Oval, London to participate in a content capture (filming) at the date set by the Promoter. The travel costs will be borne by the Winning Participant; the Promoter will not be covering travel costs. The range of dates will take place in August at one of the home County Championship Cricket Fixtures.

The Promoter shall not be liable where the Prize or any part of it cannot be fulfilled due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to event cancellation, scheduling changes, venue restrictions, or broadcast decisions.

The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prize with an equivalent prize without notice.

The Prize is not negotiable or transferable, and there is no cash alternative. No part or parts of the Prize may be substituted for other benefits, items, or additions. The Prize must not be sold on or transferred to another party.

The Winning Participant is solely responsible for the creation, production, and delivery of advertising materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

All advertising creatives must be approved in advance by the Promoter and its venue partner. The Promoter reserves the right to reject, request amendments to, or withdraw any creative that it reasonably considers to be misleading, offensive, unlawful, competitive with SSE Group businesses, or in breach of applicable advertising standards, brand guidelines, or venue policies.

By accepting the Prize, the Winning Participant grants the Promoter a non-‑exclusive, royalty‑free, perpetual licence to use the Winning Participant’s name, logo, likeness, and submitted materials (including any trademarks, copyright or other intellectual property rights) for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes across all media.

The Promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or terminate the prize without prior notice.

The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter accepts no liability for lost entries. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this Competition, including any technical, hardware or software failures of any kind or lost or unavailable network connections which may limit or prohibit an eligible entrant’s ability to participate in the Competition.

The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries at its complete discretion, including those entries which the Promoter believes to be fraudulent, are based on misconduct, do not comply with industry regulations, or does not meet the eligibility criteria where certain exclusions apply, as outlined above.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
